On December 26th 2009 many members of the community worked together to clean up the area known for drug activity and dangerously unsanitary conditions near intersection of Almar and the train tracks on the Santa Cruz west side.  Take Back Santa Cruz began discussing this issues just a few months ago and our members made their voice heard by taking action and organizing a long overdue clean-up of this area.  Click on the window below to see video footage of the clean-up effort.
Special thanks to the dedicated volunteers who donated their time to help improve public saftey and take one more step in elimating illegal activity in our community.
